Poster Presenters

Poster boards are 2m high x 1m wide.  Therefore, please prepare your posters in A0 portrait size.  Velcro will be provided.

For information on when you must hang and remove your poster, please see your poster confirmation letter.  If you have not received one of these, please contact us on isdb2017@in-conference.org.uk

Oral Presenters

Presenter check in is to the side of stage in the room in which you are speaking.  Please follow signs marked ‘Presentation Check In’.  We encourage all speakers to check in their presentations at least 2 hours prior to the session start time, preferably during a refreshment break.

 

Speaker Presentation Check-in Opening Times are:

 

Sunday 18th June           12.00 – 19.00

Monday 19th June          08.00 – 18.30

Tuesday 20th June          08.00 – 19.00

Wednesday 21st June     08.00 – 17.30

Thursday 22nd June        08.00 – 17.00

 

The optimal format for presentations in PowerPoint is 4:3. We ask that you upload your presentation onto the laptop in the room you will present in using a USB memory device at least 2 hours prior to your session start time.  We would recommend you check in your presentation during a refreshment break or as soon as speaker preview opens (if you are in the first session of the day).

The laptops being used are HP Business NoteBooks running:

– Windows 7

– Microsoft Office 2016

 

If you have prepared your presentation on a MAC please ensure you bring a windows compatible USB stick.

Prior to the start of your talk, we would be grateful if you could check your uploaded presentation, meet the Session Chair. An AV professional will be available in the room to assist with any IT or other issues arising.

Authors were advised of the Paper Selection Committee’s decision on 26th March 2017.

Please note that all presenters (poster and oral) will be required to pay the full registration fee.

Posters will be on display throughout the meeting. A limited number of bursaries will be offered to presenting authors of oral and poster papers.
